Story Time!

There is nothing that develops a love for reading more than being read to as a child.  Here is a listing of all of the local story times in our area.  Enjoy! 

La Verne Public Library: 

Family Story Time, Every Wednesday @ 6:30pm followed by a craft.

Baby/Toddler/Preschool Story Time, Every Wednesday @ 12noon followed by a craft.

Upland Public Library:

Preschool Storytime
Tuesdays, September 14 - November 16
Storytime presents children's literature through picture books for children ages 3-5. We enjoy songs, flannel board stories, puppets, fingerplays, and crafts. The program lasts approximately 45 minutes. Children should be able to sit and listen without a parent present.

Times: 11:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
Location: Library - Multi-Purpose Room
Cost: FREE but pre-registration is REQUIRED.

Toddler Storytime
Tuesdays, September 14 - November 16
These young library users will enjoy stories, fingerplays, puppets, songs, flannel board stories and other activities. This program lasts approximately 20 minutes.

Times: 9:30 a.m. or 10:15 a.m.
Location: Library - Multi-Purpose Room
Cost: FREE but pre-registration is REQUIRED.

Amelia's Afterschool Adventure
Wednesday, September 15 - November 17
Kids aged 5-9 can enjoy great stories, snacks and a craft.

Times: 3:30 p.m.
Location: Library - Multi-Purpose Room

Claremont Public Library

Families with children up to age 5 are invited to join every week in the Children's area for stories, songs and an art activity! Parental/Adult Supervision Required.  Every Friday and Saturday at 11:30 am.
