I love that Barefoot Books focuses on the many cultures from around the world. My children are mixed-race, and my husband and I want them to know where their ancestors come from - for them to understand and appreciate the different cultures and traditions that are their heritage. Our 7-year-old daughter loves all things princesses, and "The Barefoot Book of Princesses" would be so perfect for her, since she's our multi-cultural princess. :)

My two princesses who are 6 and 4 years old would be thrilled to read "The Barefoot Book of Princesses". Since they're very familiar with the well known princess stories they'd be excited to read about new ones. Story CD would be a treat to my younger daughter who is learning to read and my older one would love the humor in the story.

My daughters are 4 and 6 and are totally Barefoot Princesses. The love to dress up and play princess but do most of their playing while exploring the backyard and nature. They love to read and be read to. We would love to add this book to our growing collection of books!
