Inspiring The Next Generation of Engineers While Making Friends in the Process

By Sponsored Content April 17, 2019

Engineering For Kids® brings math, science, engineering, and technology to elementary and middle school students in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning.

Engineering For Kids of Inland Empire North is a team of 8 teachers serving 15 schools in competition, some teams making it to national competitions. Since opening in 2015, the company has grown to serve STEAM enrichment courses in approximately 30 area schools across 5 school districts. In 2018, the owners, Herman and Ericka began serving as the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Regional Directors for Southern California. In just one year, they helped double the size of WRO in California. They currently have 70 teams and host some of the largest individual robotics tournaments in the Inland Empire region.

In addition to featuring 400 students from 50 teams spread across 11 schools for their Regional Championship held at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, California, Engineering For Kids is the official STEAM partner for the LA Kings minor league affiliate team, The Ontario Reign.
