Descanso Gardens announced tickets are now on sale for its beloved holiday events, Carved and Enchanted Forest of Light. Members can purchase their tickets now, and the general public can begin purchasing on September 15 at descansogardens.org.
Descanso’s unique take on Halloween, Carved, will occur October 7-31, 2022 and will feature exciting new displays and experiences. Enchanted, everyone’s favorite light show, will be held from November 20 2022-January 8, 2023, with its preview party fundraiser on November 19, 2022.

Carved is a family-friendly event for all ages. For three weeks in October, thousands of carved pumpkins will line the Camellia Forest. This year’s event will be bigger and better than before, with all kinds of new activities and activations. Along with the pumpkins, the ever-popular pumpkin house, hay maze, and holiday-themed food and beverage, guests will enjoy:
● UV “black light” experiences
● Artists sculpting pumpkins
● Special Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) installation at the Amphitheater
Visitors can once again experience the wonder of Enchanted Forest of Light from November 20, 2022 - January 8, 2023. Popular returning favorites include an entire town of magical “stained glass” creations built in the Rose Garden by contemporary sculptor Tom Fruin; sparkling, swirling installations from HYBYCOZO on the Main Lawn; Flower Power on the Promenade; and exquisite lighting effects in the Ancient Forest.

Support the Gardens and be the first to experience Enchanted Forest of Light at the Preview Party fundraiser on Saturday, November 19. The event will give visitors a chance to experience the show before it opens to the public on November 20. Tickets include food and drinks, plus special entertainment and directly benefit the Gardens. Tickets are currently on sale for $195.
Ticket prices for Carved are $20-$26 for members, $32-$38 for nonmembers. Ticket prices for Enchanted are $22-$28 for members and $34-$40 for nonmembers. Kids under 2 are free.

Founded as a public garden in 1953, Descanso Gardens is located at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011. Descanso Gardens is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends during the summer. Admission is $15 for adults, $11 for seniors and students with a school I.D., $5 for children 5 to 12, and free for children under 5.
