Looking for an easy Halloween outing that does not require expensive tickets or a long drive? The City of Upland is bringing its annual Monster Mash-Up Movie Night back to Magnolia Park on Friday, October 16, and the whole family is invited.
The fun begins at 5 p.m. with spooky crafts, Halloween trivia, festive lawn games, food vendors, and family-friendly activities for kids. Costumes are welcome, so let the kids wear them early and get another night of use out of those costumes we all spent too much time tracking down!
Once the sun goes down, families can settle in for an outdoor showing of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie beginning at 7 p.m.

What to Bring
Pack a blanket or low-back lawn chairs for the movie. Since it may cool down once the sun sets, bringing sweatshirts or an extra blanket for the kids is probably a good idea too. Food vendors will be available, making this one of those nice Friday nights when you may be able to skip cooking dinner altogether.
Natalie’s Note: I love community events like this because families can make the evening as simple or as festive as they want. Come early for the Halloween activities, dress everyone up, grab dinner from a vendor, and stay for the movie. Or just bring a blanket, find a spot on the grass, and enjoy a free movie together under the Upland sky.
Event details may change. Please check with the City of Upland before heading out.
