You may qualify to receive assistance for you and your family to participate in membership and programs at a reduced rate. To get started, simply complete an Open Doors application at any of our locations.



PROGRAMS

CHILD DEVELOPMENT & EDUCATION:  With so many demands on today’s families and the increased focus on early brain development, families need all the support they can get to nurture the potential of youth. That’s why child care and early learning programs at the Y focus on holistically nurturing child development by providing a safe and healthy place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

  • Early Childhood Development Center (Licensed Preschool) Ages: 2-5 Years
  • Tiny Tots (Ages 3-5 Years):  A fun, part-time kindergarten readiness program that provides a healthy, active environment for socialization and learning.
  • Teen Center (Grades 7-12):  A positive place for teens to hang out after school. Transportation is provided from pioneer junior high school, subject to availability.
  • Homework Club (Grades 1-6):  Great for children who need time for homework after school, but also want to participate in fun games and activities and have access to swimming and our indoor sports facilities.
  • Fun With Food And Art (Ages 3-5 Years):  Gives children the opportunity to discover their inner artist and chef.
  • Kinder Art (Ages 3-5 Years):  Combines creativity with learned art techniques.



SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAMS:

  • Explorers Day Camp (Grades 1-6)
  • High Adventure Day Camp (Grades 6-8)
  • Discovery Day Camp (Kinder)
  • Preschool Camp Discovery
  • Specialty Camp: Sports Day Camp (Ages 6-16)
  • Specialty Camp: Aquatics Day Camp (Ages 6-16)


RESIDENT CAMPING:
CAMP OAKES RESIDENT CAMP - Summer Resident Camping is a YMCA tradition without equal. We offer a traditional Summer Resident Camp program with all of the classic Summer Camp activities. Children learn about the outdoors, build meaningful and lasting friendships, and develop memories that will last through the years.

  • Camp Oakes (Ages 8-13)
  • Camp Oakes Leadership (Ages 14-16)


SWIM LESSON:

  • PROGRESSIVE SWIM LESSONS (Ages 6 months-6 Years) - Swimming is a life skill as well as great exercise and a challenging sport. We start with the basics and build the skills and knowledge so that children can safely enjoy the water. Class times are dependent upon demand.
  • YOUTH WATER POLO (Ages 8-16 Years):  Learn through teamwork! Water Polo is a great way to gain confidence and strength in the water. Covers basic Water Polo skills including treading water, passing, blocking, and scoring.
  • YOUTH SWIM TEAM (Ages 6 Years and up):  Competitive and Non-Competitive programs designed to teach skills and confidence in an active, team based environment.
