Claremont Library Offering New Outdoor Programs

Arts - Crafts - Performances

Starting June 1 through the end of summer, children, teens, and caregivers can participate in arts and crafts activities and enjoy performances outside The Claremont Helen Renwick Library. 

Outdoor Programs will be held on designated Tuesdays and while these events are free registration will be required. Right now you can register for:

Ballad of the Simple Man - Tuesday, June 1st
Actor Carl Weintraub of We Tell Stories presents an interactive performance of a short play, The Ballad of the Simple Man. For ages 6 - 17. Parents & caregivers required for ages 9 and under.

Boxtales Theater Company - Tuesday, June 1st
Boxtales Theater Company explores myths and legends using masks, movement, music, and stories. For ages 6 - 17. Parents & caregivers required for ages 9 and under.

Decorate your own Mini Book - Tuesday, June 8th
Decorate your own mini-book! For children ages 3 - 5 and their parents or caregivers.

Create Your Own Origami Pet - Tuesday, June 8th
Create your own origami pet during this fun paper folding program. For ages 6 - 17. Parents & caregivers required for ages 9 and under.

Ms. Bits N' Bobs - Tuesday, June 15
Enter the Land of Imagination with Ms. Bits N’ Bobs and stay for the fun, learning, and a bit of magic.  For children ages 3 - 5 and their parents or caregivers.

Create a Story with Cosmos - Tuesday, June 15
Director Cosmos Kiindarius will help you create your own fun story or film. For ages 6 - 17. Parents & caregivers required for ages 9 and under.

Learn to Draw Anime - Tuesday, June 15
Follow along as artist Carlos Nieto teaches you to draw anime characters. For ages 6 - 17. Parents & caregivers required for ages 9 and under.
