National Night Out in Upland, Claremont & La Verne

The fun happens on Tuesday, August 3

By Natalie Sanchez - Macaroni Kid Upland-Claremont-La Verne July 16, 2021

Every year, on the first Tuesday in August, neighbors from communities across all 50 states get together and host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, and various other community events taking part in National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. While this event helps strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community it also brings neighbors out to meet each other in a fun and positive atmosphere.

Wanna plan your own Block Party?

Upland Residents -If would like more information on planning a local block party you can contact Officer Kunkel at the Upland Police Department at SKunkel@uplandpd.org.

National Night Out is a great time to get out with the family, enjoy a summer night, and be a part of the community. After a year of isolation, staying in, and being virtual, we all could use a whole lot of that.
