🍂 Looking for a fun way to welcome October with the kids? The Chino Basin Water Conservation District is hosting its annual Waterwise Garden & Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, October 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event brings together seasonal fun with helpful water-wise resources for the community.
Families can enjoy:
- 🎨 Free kids’ crafts and activities
- 🎭 Free face painting
- 🎃 Pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, and even a pumpkin succulent centerpiece station
- 🌱 A plant sale with advice from landscaping experts
- 🍔 Food vendors to keep everyone fueled up
One of the highlights this year is the grand opening of the Waterwise Community Nursery, where visitors can shop for plants while learning how to create water-efficient landscapes at home.
The festival is made possible through a partnership with Fontana Water Company, Monte Vista Water District, Cucamonga Valley Water District, Chino Basin Watermaster, IEUA, and the cities of Chino, Upland, and Ontario.
