Stuffie Sleepover & Pajama Party at the Cooper Museum in Upland

An after-hours museum adventure for kids and their favorite stuffed friends

If your child has ever asked what happens inside the museum when the lights go out, this is their moment.

The Cooper Museum is hosting a Stuffie Sleepover & Pajama Party on Friday, February 27, and it is one of those events that feels extra sweet and creative. Here’s what to expect.

Kids come dressed in pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal. During the evening, families will explore the museum together, enjoy milk and cookies, take part in a scavenger hunt, and gather for a bedtime story. Then comes the big decision… the stuffies can stay overnight for their very own museum sleepover.

Important to know, this is not a drop-off event. Parents stay and join in the fun. Only the stuffed animals sleep over, not the kids.

If your child is not quite ready to leave their beloved bear behind, that is completely fine. The overnight portion is optional. They can still participate in everything and take their stuffed friend home at the end of the night.

For those who do leave their stuffie, pick up is the next day:

๐Ÿ“… Pick up: Saturday, February 28, 2026
โฐ Between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm

The museum will hold unclaimed stuffed animals for up to two weeks and will reach out if needed, but let’s be honest, most kids are going to be excited to see what their buddy was up to.

โฐ 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
๐Ÿ“ 217 E A Street, Upland

Free, registration required

It runs about two and a half hours and is open to all ages.

If you are in Upland, Claremont, La Verne, or nearby, this is such a fun way to mix imagination with a little local history. It also makes for a very cute Saturday morning conversation when your child comes back to pick up their stuffed friend and hears about the “adventure.”

You can register through the museum’s Eventbrite page. Since it is free and space is limited, I would not wait too long to grab a spot.

Pajamas encouraged for both kids and stuffies.
