Moms Morning Adds Water Play for August at The Spot Café

By Natalie Sanchez, Publisher For Macaroni KID Upland-Claremont-La Verne July 9, 2026

It’s August. It’s hot. And if you have little ones at home, you may be running out of ways to keep everyone entertained before summer officially wraps up.

So for this month’s Moms Morning at The Spot Café, we’re adding water!

Join Macaroni KID Upland, Claremont & La Verne and The Spot Café on Thursday, August 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for our monthly Moms Morning meet-up, with a NEW summer splash zone for the kids.

We’ve been hosting Moms Morning at The Spot Café since October, and one of my favorite things about these mornings is how easy they are. There’s no schedule to follow and no pressure to arrive right at 9:00. Moms can grab a coffee or breakfast, chat with other local moms, and let the kids have a little fun.

And this month, they may want to bring a change of clothes!

💦 New This Month: Summer Splash Zone

For our August meet-up, we’re bringing out some water play to help the kids cool off while they play. Dress them in something that can get wet, bring a towel, and let them splash!

Along with the new water play area, we’ll also have our kids craft table, plus a free kids smoothie or popsicle.

☀️ Come Hang Out With Us

If you’ve never been to a Moms Morning before, you don’t need to know anyone to come. Bring a friend if you want, or just show up with the kids. These mornings are meant to be casual and easy.

Stay for two hours, stop in for 30 minutes, grab something to eat, let the kids play, meet another mom, or simply get everyone out of the house for a bit.
