Big trucks, flashing lights, community helpers, and a chance to climb into the front seat. Upland Public Library is wrapping up summer with TruckTopia, a free event for kids and families on Friday, July 31.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., children will be able to see several Upland city vehicles up close, including a firetruck, police car, waste hauler, and more. Kids can learn about the vehicles, meet some of the people who use them, and get a closer look at the jobs that help keep the city running.
The event will include representatives from the Upland Police Department, Upland Fire Department, Upland Public Works Department, and other local partners.

Along with the vehicle displays, families can enjoy activities, community booths, and a free lunch for children and teens ages 18 and younger.
TruckTopia is part of Upland Library’s Summer Send-Off, so it is a nice chance to squeeze in one more local outing before summer winds down. Families with kids who love trucks, emergency vehicles, or anything with big wheels will probably want to put this one on the calendar.
