Step back in time to the great American west and experience the simple life. Join Los Rios Rancho for this family-friendly 3-day festival and learn about 19th-century living on the American frontier.
Kimberland Forge: Come see Kenn, a second-generation blacksmith, at The Kimberland Forge. He's been presenting the lost art of blacksmithing all over the western United States for over twenty years. He has set up shop in Virginia City, NV, Knott’s Berry Farm and schools, fairs and rodeos. Kenn, along with his son Pierce, built a replica civil war era battery Forge for their educational presentations.
Code of the West is a non-profit performing arts organization dedicated to teaching history and encouraging a love of country through stage presentations and living history offerings. In addition to their performances, code of the west will also have Fan decorating, cowboy trivia (with surprise prizes), and corn hole to represent playing “horseshoes” which was very popular with cowboys back in the day. See the directory for presentation times
