Celebrate Independence Day at one of La Verne's favorite hometown traditions! The annual Fourth of July Parade returns with patriotic floats, marching groups, community organizations, classic cars, local performers, and more. Before the parade begins, enjoy the exciting Motorcycle Ride as dozens of decorated bikes lead the celebration down the parade route.
The Motorcycle Ride begins just before the parade and follows the same route. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early to find parking and claim a viewing spot. The City of La Verne only allows chairs, tents, blankets, and other items to reserve spaces along the parade route up to 24 hours in advance.

No registration is needed to attend. Simply arrive early and find a spot along the parade route. Those wishing to participate in the parade or Motorcycle Ride must register in advance.

The 2026 parade theme is "Celebrating 250 Years of Independence, La Verne's Way."
🔔 This year's Grand Marshal is La Verne's historic Liberty Bell replica, originally cast by the same foundry that created the original Liberty Bell in London and installed in La Verne during the nation's Bicentennial in 1976.
🏍️ The Motorcycle Ride kicks off the festivities at 9:45 AM, featuring riders from throughout the community decked out in patriotic red, white, and blue.
🎺 Expect festive floats, local organizations, marching groups, music, classic vehicles, and plenty of hometown spirit throughout the parade.
🪑 Chairs, blankets, and canopies may only be placed along the parade route beginning 24 hours before the event.
🎆 Be sure to stick around for the evening Fireworks Show at Bonita High School to cap off the day's celebration.
