It's Halloween time, and here at Macaroni KID Upland, Claremont & La Verne, we've been busy hunting down all the local family fun for you. There are SO many things to do in our area, and it will take some decisions to figure out the best events for you and your family to attend. All our listed events always link back to sites and sources so you can verify and get the most up-to-date information possible before you go.

Below we have highlighted 19 things you and the family can do THIS WEEKEND/Week (October 21 - October 30) in and around Upland, Claremont and La Verne.
1. 🎃Make a pumpkin bowl at Studio Claremont - This workshop at Studio Claremont will allow artists to create their own pumpkin bowl with a lid. Students will start with a simple ball of clay and transform the clay into a bowl using the pinch pot method. Then students will paint and design their bowl to look like a happy jack-o-lantern.
2. 🍴22nd Annual Taste of La Verne Food Festival - It's The Annual Taste of La Verne - A food & wine festival to please any palate -returning to Brackett Airport for this milestone event. This event will feature music, beer, wine, spirits and great food! For one low price, attendees can sample mouth-watering appetizers, entrees, desserts, pastries, and beverages from some of the area's finest restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and beverage companies. Helicopter tours will be available for purchase from Hangar 21!

6. 🌱Halloween Inspired Houseplants and Decor (Claremont) - Armstrong will show you all the spooky Halloween-inspired houseplants and decor that will help prepare your home for ghosts, ghouls, and goblins. They'll have the spookiest, cutest, spikiest, strangest and best houseplants for your Halloween inspiration. Then, plop in some different pumpkins and decor to make a fantastic display in your home. You will learn how to care for these plants, tips about watering and sun, and the best spots in your home for them.
7. 🎃👻Village Venture (Claremont) - Village Venture is Claremont's long-running, annual event where family, friends & neighbors come together to enjoy music, food, and the arts. Get your holiday shopping done early as you walk the streets of the Claremont Village lined with over 400 booths selling unique art, original crafts, and apparel. Explore local businesses and non-profit organizations as you experience the beauty and architecture of our unique village. Enjoy tasty meals and treats at our sidewalk restaurants and cafés, or stroll to the Food Truck Area on First Street.
8. 💃🕺Family Dance Day - When was the last time you experienced something new? Created a fun memory with the kids, the family? Tried something different where being silly or vulnerable to each other as a family to build connection, bond and memories? We created this fun and memorable event to give you as a family the opportunity to do just that, and we will capture it for your own memory or to upload it onto your FB or IG as and keepsake for years to come.
9. ❄️Meet the Ice Princess at Tina G. Cosmetics - During Claremont’s Annual Village Venture (October 22), be sure to stop by Tina G Cosmetics to meet the Ice Princess between 10:30 am-12:30 pm. 10. 🎃2022 Spooktacular (Rancho Cucamonga) - Rancho Cucamonga hosts it's Trunk or Treat at RC Sports Center. $10 For Carnival games and attractions
11. 🎃👻Halloween Spooktacular (San Dimas) - Join the City of San Dimas for their Annual Halloween Spooktacular. Trunk or Treat - Costume Contest - Beetlejuice - Haunted Hall - Games and Activities - Food Trucks
12. 🎃 Carved at Descanso Gardens - Spooky season returns to Descanso Gardens. Carved is a family-friendly event for all ages. Hundreds of carved pumpkins will line a 1-mile walk through the Camellia Forest and Oak Grove for three weeks in October. Along with pumpkins, there will be exciting new oversized sculptures made of sticks and other natural materials. The popular Pumpkin House, a hay maze, and themed food and beverage will all help to create a fun harvest festival ambiance.
13. 🎃Pumpkin Carving - Teens (Upland Library) - Compete against friends for a chance to win gift cards in this year's pumpkin carving contest
14. 👻Walker House of Horrors (San Dimas) - The City of San Dimas is excited to announce the premiere of THE WALKER HOUSE OF HORRORS! Take a guided tour of the historic haunted Walker House to hear the stories of residents who still roam the halls...This experience is for people 12 years and up. Registration opens September 26th. Fee $15 per person for tour entrance. Event features; Beer Garden & Food Trucks. (not included with the entrance fee). This four-day event takes place Thursday, October 27, through Sunday, October 30.
15. 🍬🍫🚗Keller Williams College Park Trunk Or Treat - Annual Trunk or Treat - Bring your Kiddos for some Family Fun!
16. 🚙🍬🍫Trunk or Treat (St. Joseph Catholic Church) - A free community event featuring 30+ Decorated Trunks with treats, food vendors and DJ music.
17. 🍬🎃Our Lady of the Assumption Trunk or Treat - Families and children are invited to come in costume to visit our "Trunks" and receive a "Treat" at the OLA parking lot. Free hot dog dinner for the first 300 guests.
18. 🍬🎃Rancho Cucamonga CHP Trunk Or Treat - The second annual Trunk or Treat is here. Community partners will have spooky decorated trunks/stations for you to visit as you walk through the parking lot. Come dressed up in your best costume and vote for your favorite trunk. They can't wait to see you!
19. 🍭🍬🚗 Trunk or Treat at Community Church Rancho - A festive, fun fall night for the entire family. Trunk or Treat runs from 5:30-8:30 pm, with plenty of trunks overflowing with candy.
