For most kids, the best part of Halloween is the trick-or-treating on Halloween night. But the season becomes even more exciting when they can attend multiple trick-or-treat events. As a mom, I love seeing my kids get extra use out of the costumes I bought, and it’s a joy to watch their excitement at our community’s fairs and festivals.
Below is a carefully curated list of FREE or low-cost community trick-or-treat events, trunk-or-treats, fairs, festivals, and fun fall activities happening in and around Upland, Claremont, and La Verne. Monster Mash-Up Movie Night (Upland) Enjoy fun, games & crafts, treats & candy, food vendors, a children's costume parade, photo opportunities, and a 7:00 p.m. movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. The children's costume parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. All participants will meet at Park Site B located along 15th Street at 5:50 p.m. to begin the parade line-up. It's sure to be a graveyard smash! La Verne Trunk Or Treat - (La Verne) Join the City of La Verne for their third annual Trunk or Treat! Kids can dress in their favorite costumes and safely trick-or-treat from various decorated vehicles and/or booths participating. Glendora's Pumpkin Festival -(Glendora) Pumpkin Festival is hosted by the Glendora Preservation Foundation and co-sponsored by the Glendora Community Services Department.
